Ilan Scialom

Head of the Research Department and Strategy Consultant Zalis

Ilan Scialom joined Zalis in September 2023 as head of the Research Department and strategy consultant. He has over 15 years’ experience in a wide variety of sectors.

He has worked with European institutions on issues relating to the common market and the EU’s foreign policy with the European Parliament.

As an expert, he has developed sharp analytical and strategic skills within complex institutional environments.

In 2017, he joined Skema Business School, as manager of the Skema Ventures incubator in the Paris La Défense business district.

His leadership and the extensive network of mentors he coordinated helped to turn innovative ideas into viable businesses.

In 2020, he joined Schneider Electric as a cybersecurity expert. In particular, he contributed to cyber crisis management and the implementation of a simulation policy within the company. He also worked on the definition and operational implementation of thought leadership in partnership with public and private players in the EMEA region.

Alongside his consulting work at Zalis, Ilan is a researcher in geopolitics at the IFG Lab (GEODE project) and teaches at Paris Dauphine University. His work focuses on cyber risk management for critical infrastructures in the energy sector.

Ilan is a graduate of ENS Ulm and Université Panthéon-Sorbonne, and holds a certificate in cyber risk management from Harvard University (2022).

Ilan speaks French, English and Hebrew.
