After fifteen years at France’s Ministry of Economy and Finance, Guillaume Vanderheyden, a qualified Treasury auditor (Inspecteur des Finances), has joined Zalis as CEO France.
Guillaume Vanderheyden holds a DEA Master’s Degree in Public Law from Paris XI, Sceaux University, and is an alumnus of the Nantes Regional Administration Institute (IRA). At the Legal Affairs Division (DAJ) and then the Treasury Department of France’s Ministry of Economy and Finance, he developed extensive expertise in managing legal and financial negotiations, at both a national level (as Rapporteur to the Interministerial Committee on Industrial Restructuring, or CIRI) and in international arenas (International Maritime Organisation, OECD).
He was also in charge of change management issues at the French Treasury Department (as Head of the Strategy, Research, and Management Office) before being named a Treasury auditor (Inspecteur des Finances) in 2013. For more than four years, Guillaume Vanderheyden worked on consulting assignments for the French government at the National Audit Office (IGF).
“I am thrilled to join Zalis and grateful to Daniel Cohen for placing his trust in me. I will take on these new responsibilities with enthusiasm and determination to allow Zalis to pursue and broaden its work to help companies and their employees during a time of major economic and industrial change. I know I can count on the expertise and commitment of Zalis’s employees to help me meet this challenge.”
